When importing a transaction with the sales tax code mapped into QuickBooks using Zed Axis the transaction will import successfully but there is no tax code on the transaction line shown in QuickBooks
This is an error that has been reported in QuickBooks in the following releases, (Australia 2008/09, 2009/10,) (United Kingdom, 2008). The makers of QuickBooks are aware of the issue.
Suggested workaround.
This error is affected by the Tax Preferences setup in QuickBooks. If you change the Sales figures from Gross to Net in the QuickBooks Preferences in the Tax section and then reattempt the import the sales tax code should now be imported.
