How to import a description row on a transaction into QuickBooks Online

When creating invoices, sales receipts, or estimates in QuickBooks Online, you can add an empty row or a row with a description only on it, for example, if you want to provide a break or add instructions on the transaction.  You can also add a description-only row when importing an invoice, sales receipt, or estimate into QuickBooks Online using Zed Axis.

For the row that you would like to include a Description only row, make sure that the cell for the Item name (Line Item Ref Full Name) is empty. Axis will interpret this as a description-only row and only include the content provided in the Description field.

Note: If the row is a description-only row, do not include values in the Tax Code field.
