Import Vehicle lists into QuickBooks desktop

Overview

In QuickBooks desktop a vehicle list is used to record motor vehicles that are used in the business and record vehicle mileage. Using Zed Axis it is possible to import a list of Vehicles from text or Excel files.

Steps to import vehicle lists into QuickBooks Desktop

Follow these steps:

Open Zed Axis and connect to the QuickBooks desktop company you want to import into.
Click on the Import tab and then browse to the Excel or text file that contains the list of vehicles
In the mapping section select the option to create a new mapping and then using the drop down list selections map the column in your import file to the corresponding fields in QuickBooks desktop.
Click the import button and Axis will import a list of vehicles into QuickBooks desktop

Name	Str 31	MANDATORY - The name of the vehicle, as appears in QuickBooks
Is Active	Bool	Whether the Vehicle name is active or not (true or false).
