How to import Billing Rates into QuickBooks

You can import billing rates level list into QuickBooks from text or Excel files using Zed Axis by following these steps:

Open Zed Axis and connect to the QuickBooks company file you want to import the billing rates level list into.
Browse to the file that contains the billing rates lists,
Create a mapping of the columns in your import file to the corresponding fields in QuickBooks
Click Import and Axis will import the lists in batch into your QuickBooks desktop company file.

Below is a description of the fields that you can map when import Billing Rate level lists:

QuickBooks field	Type	Description
Billing Rate Name	Str 31	Name of the billing rate as it appears in QuickBooks
Item Full Name	Str	Full name of the service item
Custom Rate	Price	The price of the item for the billing rate (do not map item uses a Percent rate)
Custom Rate Percent	Percent	The percent rate for the item for the billing rate (only use if the service is priced as a percent)
Adjust Percent	Percent	The percentage to adjust the items price (if mapped you must also map Adjust Relative To)
Adjust Relative To	Bool	Specifies the service item rate that AdjustPercentage is applied to. Normally, this is set to StandardRate.(values: StandardRate, CurrentCustomRate)
