Import transfers into QuickBooks Online

Axis
You can import bank transfers into QuickBooks Online from text or Excel using Zed Axis.  To import using Zed Axis please follow these steps:
  1. Open Zed Axis and connect to your QuickBooks Online company file
  2. Once connected click on the Import module tab
  3. Open the Excel, text or IIF file that contains the transfers that you want to import into QuickBooks Online.
  4. Next create a map between the columns in your import file and the corresponding fields in QuickBooks, for more information on the fields refer to the table at the end of this article.
  5. Finally click the Import button and Axis will import the transfers directly into QuickBooks Online.

QuickBooks Field Format Description
Id str 15 Unique ID for the transfer (required when modifying, skipping or appending)
Txn Date Date Posting date for the transfer
Private Note str 4000 Private note for the transfer
From Account Ref str MANDATORY Asset account from where the funds are transferred from
To Account Ref str MANDATORY Asset account into which the funds are transferred into
Amount Decimal MANDATORY The amount transferred
Transaction Location Type Enum France Only. The account location (values WithinFrance, FranceOverseas, OutsideFranceWithEU, OutsideEU)
