Overview of importing IIF into QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks Online does not natively support importing transactions held in IIF files, this common file format used widely by QuickBooks desktop users.   Zed Axis offers you an option to take those IIF files and import them directly into QuickBooks Online.  

Steps to import IIF files

Following these basic steps:
  1. Open Zed Axis and connect to your QuickBooks Online company file
  2. Click on the Import tab and browse to the IIF file you want to import into QuickBooks Online
  3. Map the columns in your IIF file to the corresponding fields into QuickBooks Online, then save that map for the next time
  4. Finally click Import and your IIF file will be translated and imported directly into QuickBooks Online.
