Selecting a file to import

To import transactions into QuickBooks you first need to select the file containing the transactions:

1. On the Zed Axis main screen select the location of the file that you wish to import into QuickBooks, click Browse button to find the location of the file and to specify the file format.  The supported file types are Microsoft Excel 97-2003, Microsoft Excel 2007, text formats or comma separated values (CSV).
2. If you selected an Excel spreadsheet then choose the workbook that the data is contained in.  If you selected a text based file then select the file delimiter (ie what is used to define the columns in the text file).
3. Next if the data has a header row that describes what data is in the column then check the box, that will ensure that you can map to the column header.
