Error: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel

Occurs: When trying to connect or disconnect Zed Axis from a QuickBooks Online company file, an exception message is display with the error message "The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel" and Zed Axis is not able to complete the connection or disconnection process.
 
Cause: Recent upgrades to the QuickBooks Online connection process made by Intuit around the July 28th means that new connections or disconnections are not processing.  However current connections will not be lost and you can continue to import and export.
 
Resolution: We have a resolution for this issue, we have released an updated version of Zed Axis v12.2. This is at the moment a limited beta release for customers directly affected by this issue, and can be downloaded from here.  You will need to uninstall your current 12.1 and install and activate again (maps will be retained), if you need to reset the count on your license key please raise a ticket with support and we will reset that for you.
 
Update (Friday 3rd August): We have found the cause and are testing an updated version of 12.1 that we hope to release in the next 48 hours.
 
Update (Saturday 4th August): Issue AXIS-667 resolved and updated 12.2 release available, (text file only imports, xls and xlsx will follow shortly)
 
Update (Wednesday 8th August) - New Beta build B02 for 12.2 will open xls and xlsx files and text files

Hi Steve, 
Do you have any estimate on how soon this update will be released? Due to this issue, we currently can't import any invoices for our clients.

Hi Cora, An updated build of Axis 12.2 is available can you follow the instructions above to install that, sorry for the inconvenience.

I am importing .xls. Please let me know when .xls is included in the fix.

zed connect.PNG hello everyone. Attached is the error that keeps popping up on our accounts ladys PC. We upgraded her pc with an SSD and new ram and re-installed windows 10 pro. In the process of reloading the software, we ran into the error"attached". 

Is there a way to get a new connection authorised? This error pops up when you select "Connect to quickbooks online". 

We bought v12 and installed v12.2. Any higher versions seems to miss match with our license key.

Any help is appreciated.
